Robert Daniel Alley, Jr.

Robert D. Alley, Jr (Bob) age 65 died unexpectedly on June 3, 2024, at home. Bob was born in Presque Isle, Maine but moved to Massachusetts at a young age. He completed high school at Pathfinder Regional School in 1976 and immediately enlisted in the Army. He served his country for 5 years and received training in engineering. After the Army he worked for various companies travelling around the states for many years. His final stop was Manchester, Ct where he worked as a Sr. Controls Engineer for Fuel Cell Energy out of Danbury. Bob took his job very seriously.
Bob leaves his ex-wife Doreen (Dee) Kangwa of Manchester, two sons Robert D. Alley III of Corpus Christi, Texas and Joseph W. Alley of Wallingford, Ct. He also leaves a sister Audrey Wilcox of Palmer, Ma and a brother of Doug Alley of Ware, Ma.
Bob is predeceased by his father Robert D. Alley, Sr., his mother Lillian and stepfather Alfred Clark as well as two siblings Tammy Truehart and Walter Alley (Joey).
Bob will be buried in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St. Agawam, Ma 01001 on Tuesday June 11, 2024, at 9AM. The family thanks the Manchester Funeral Home for their help and support.
