Melyssa Correa

It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we share the unexpected passing of Melyssa Marie Correa on May 26, 2023 at the age of 32.
She was predeceased by her paternal Grandfather Felix Correa. she is survived by her siblings Alycia C. Velita, Felix E. Correa, Jason C. Cruz, her mother Ruth Correa, her paternal Grandmother Yolanda Correa, her maternal grandparents Epy and Maria Colon, her Guardian Aunts and Uncle Ray and Yolanda Nuñez and Marian Correa, her nieces Ariella and Alianna Velita, Isabelle Stramel, Alora Kerwin, her Nephews Nathan Cruz, Felix E. Correa Jr., Henry L. Velita Jr., her foster daughter Crystal Cleveland whom she loved very much. She is also survived by her sister cousins, cousins, aunts, uncles and other family members and friends who were of great significance.
Melyssa was such a sweet soul and was loved by everyone who had the honor to know her. She grew up in the Greater Hartford County of Connecticut her whole life. She graduated from Rockville High School. She worked for Voya as a Customer Care Representative for the last 3 1/2 years. Melyssa's passion was art. She poured her heart and soul in all her masterpieces she created. She enjoyed many art sessions with her nieces and foster daughter. Her solo sessions renewed her spirit and made her so happy. She was very talented. Melyssa was remembered the most by her kindness and her infectious laugh. Her presence lit every room she entered. She always gave the best hugs. She was free spirited and always did what made her happy. She will be missed very much.
There is never a good time to say goodbye-so I won't. You will forever live in our hearts and memories. I love you with all my heart-Forever and always to the moon and back. Love, your Lee Lee
