Gloria Ann Stanley, 88, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable spirit.

Born on March 28, 1937 in Port Chester, NY, she was the beloved daughter of Peter & Bessie Palmer and was predeceased by her parents and her children, Susan, Billy, Liza & Rich. Despite life’s hardships, she remained strong, warm, and deeply devoted to those she loved.

She will be remembered for her boundless love of family and friends, her welcoming heart, and her love of all sports—her only firm requirement for cable was making sure ESPN was included. She had a playful, spirited personality and was a shameless flirt, bringing smiles and laughter wherever she went.

She is lovingly remembered by her son, Alan, and his son, Alan Jr.; grandchildren, Liza (Ed) Tierney; Meghan (Matt) McLoughlin; and Tommy and Lauren Briggs; great grandchildren and many more cherished family and friends.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
